This includes, for example, unplanned pregnancies, lack of shelter, the inability to organise their daily affairs on their own or the need for personal care.
In accordance with the humanistic world view, the right to self-determination and human dignity are paramount in every life situation.

Humanist hospices
The hospice services for ill children and adults in their last phase of life, relatives and friends focus on end-of-life and bereavement counselling - humanistic, age-appropriate, culturally sensitive and empathetic.
