In addition to flexible working hours, the Humanist Association Berlin-Brandenburg offers options for part-time and full-time work as well as a wide range of opportunities, including co-determination, shaping and decision-making.

The PTG collective wage agreement means fair and transparent salaries. New employees generally receive a permanent contract and 30 days of holiday. In addition, 24th and 31st of December are non-working days.

Employees receive support in the form of an annual bonus and the option of a company pension scheme.

The association recognises all life phases of its employees. Therefore, we offer preferential treatment when allocating daycare places in one of our 26 Humanist daycare centres in Berlin and Brandenburg, flexible work schedules as well as advice and support for retirement planning and caring for family members. In addition, the Humanist Association Berlin-Brandenburg has already been awarded several times as a top family-friendly employer, for example in 2021.

The association actively supports further education and training for employees, for example at the Humanist Academy Berlin-Brandenburg. We also offer scholarships for a part-time postgraduate programme leading to a Master's degree at the Humanist University Berlin.
